Call for Papers (MSSiS 2022)
The papers can be written in Portuguese or English. All submissions must follow the formatting
style of the events of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), also available
on
Overleaf, classified in:
- Full Papers (up to 10 pages), presenting a result of interest for the advancement of research in
the area. Papers describing models, methods, experimental studies and reports of industrial experience are
welcome; and
- Short Papers (up to 5 pages), describing ongoing research and/or preliminary results.
- Case Papers (between 5 and 7 pages), reporting experiences of applying simulation in real industrial production or research environments, showing the impact that the use of such models has brought to the process, the gains and the factors / attributes analyzed; and
- Position papers (up to 5 pages), an opinion-based paper summarizing a research project, tool, or technique, or containing research perspectives on the themes of the workshop.

Submissions will be managed through JEMS. Papers can be submitted using the following link:
https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=4149.
The papers will be evaluated by at least three committee members.
The acceptance will be mainly based on the originality and contribution.
For full papers, the observed criteria are: (i) suitability to the workshop scope, (ii) relevance, (iii)
technical quality, (iv) clearness and (v) originality.
For short and position papers, the judgement criteria for full papers will also be followed. However,
consolidated results are not expected for this category,
and the acceptance will be based on the importance of the topic, potential to foster discussions during the
workshop, and focus on feedback for authors.
All the papers, regardeless of their category, will be subject to a (
double blind review)
process. Hence, any type of identification should be suppressed.
Papers accepted and presented at the workshop will be published on the SBC OpenLib platform - SOL:
https://sol.sbc.org.br/.
Articles published in previous years can also be accessed on the SBC OpenLib platform - SOL:
