ADGEPA - DIGITAL ASSISTANT FOR PARTICIPATORY PUBLIC MANAGEMENT

Overview:
The ADGEPA (which in Portuguese stands for "Assistente Digital de Gestão Pública Participativa", and means Digital Assistant for Participatory Public Management) Project was proposed to use web and georeferencing technologies for mobile and desktops devices, in order to allow users to identify cities social-environmental troubles (hotspots). One expects to populate a temporal, spatial and descriptive data base for these concerns. The data base will support various kinds of inferences, from which one should achieve conclusions about concerns, events, seasons, and others correlations.

FUZZY EXPERT SYSTEM TO WATER QUALITY ASSESSMENT

Overview:
During his Master, Vinícius Sebba Patto proposed three different index to assess water quality according to its usage (drink, water treatment, and aquatic biota preservation). The main goal was propose index free from the influence of parameters on each other (eclipse effects). This expert system was done using fuzzy logic and production rules.
